I was just out doing some Christmas shopping for the family today. Nothing can be more stressful than buying presents and getting them something you just know they would love. At some point, I just stopped and looked around me. Every one had this facial expression of being stressed and being in a bad mood (including me). Isn't Christmas about being happy and enjoying the season? Isn't it the 'most wonderful season of all'? So I started to remind myself that it is not about the 'perfect' present and not about how much you spend on your loved ones. It is about being with people you love, spending special quality time together and appreciating the little things around you. Remind yourself of the last time you smiled today - the last time you said something nice to someone around you. It's time to believe again. It's time to believe in yourself again and especially believing in love. Let the spirit of Christmas come back to life and don't let the stress, the bad moods and the 'perfect' present define you.
Enjoy the holiday season with all your heart & have yourself a merry little Christmas.
